Package Classification and Calculation System
This document describes the mathematical formulas for calculating package sizes and classifying them into categories based on their dimensions relative to a standard box.
Reference Parameters
Standard Box
- Dimensions: 60cm × 40cm × 40cm
- Volume: 70 liters
- Function: Reference for all size classifications
Package Data
- Width: in centimeters
- Length: in centimeters
- Height: in centimeters
- Weight: in grams
- Volume: in liters
- Item Quantity: integer number
Calculation Formulas
1. Volume Calculation
2. Unit Conversion
Package Classification Logic
Classification Criteria
The system evaluates two fitting conditions against the standard box:
- Loose Fit: All package dimensions are smaller than the standard box
- Tight Fit: All package dimensions are smaller or equal to the standard box
Classification Categories
| Category | Condition | Description |
|---|---|---|
| PARCEL | Loose Fit = True | Small package, fits easily |
| OUTOFFORMAT | Tight Fit = False | Large package, exceeds dimensions |
| BOX | Intermediate Cases | Medium package, fits tightly |
